In October 2015 I took the Arcana Mundi Expeditions jaguar tour to the Pantanal. After seeing the big cats of Africa, I wanted to see the largest cat in the Americas, and the tour fulfilled all my expectations, and more. My English-speaking guide was excellent at spotting not only jaguars but the multitude of different birds that I had not expected to see. We saw 2-3 jaguars each day, more birds than I could count, as well as other wildlife endemic to South America. My Jaguar Suite in the flotel was comfortable and spacious and air conditioned. The Southward Pantanal Lodge was also very comfortable, with wonderful food and its own unique wildlife - a good introduction for what was to come. I would definitely recommend this tour.
