After a lifelong fear of the water I decided to take private lessons to try and overcome the fear. I found Aquaskills through the NYT article and was thoroughly impressed. From my first interaction with Lori I knew we would get along well. So far I have taken 10 classes and have learned to float, the breaststroke and started the freestyle. That is a HUGE feat for me! My instructors Lori and Craig are amazing. They are very knowledgeable and you can tell they teach because they love it. I particularly enjoy Craig's method of teaching because he's all about the science. If you know the anatomy of the body and how things work, it helps in improving your technique. Little changes make a big difference. You can also practice after class and it helps that the pool is heated nicely - I despise cold water! I have decided to take more classes because my end goal is to swim for exercise. I highly recommend Aquaskills to anyone who wants to learn how to swim. Craig and Lori are highly professional and knowledgeable and they will work hard to help you meet your goals. Thank you guys!

I have been some classes with Aquaskills for my water fear. so far so good it has been improving every class. Teachers and staff are know how to teach and professional. facility its clean and well organized. Owner Lori she is very friendly and involved teaching every class. Recommended everybody who does not know how to swim and wants to learn.

I paid 1000$ to Adrian. He left in the middle of the session to Romania and still owes me 200$.. Never heard back from him. I followed up with Lori his partner several times who told me she has no news from him.. Strange.., Very strange.. This was in 2011- 12.. I never went back.

Though I must admit the little bit of swimming I learnt was from Adrian..I liked him till he went missing..
