I had stopped by on a random Thursday @ 9pm. It was strange to see only one other group of people there. The place has a view of the water from every window and decent decor - yet it was suspiciously quiet.
The menu seemed condensed in comparison to other sushi places. The food .... sucked and stayed back on the place.
Avoid this place and at most come by for a drink on the balcony but get a meal-in elsewhere

Food was really great! No complaints in that department!! The service was a little slow, but we were in no rush so didn't mind. The decor is very nice and very comfortable. The back deck on the water is beautiful! Definitely recommend!!

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner after we bought a Groupon that seemed like a good deal ($39 for 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 dessert, and 2 glasses of wine). The place was very empty for a Saturday night and we were seated promptly - at a dirty table. The menu we were given for the Groupon special was not the same as was posted on their website. It had about 5 choices for appetizers and entrees. We ordered the volcano filet mignon as an appetizer and it took forever to get to our table. I don't really know why it took so long since it was raw meat that we cooked ourselves at the table on a hot stone. The meat tasted disgusting. We might as well have swallowed a spoonful of salt since thats how it tasted. Moving on to the entree I had the sushi deluxe which did not have much taste to it. He had the seafood tempura, which was all shrimp. For dessert we had the fried ice cream, which was not the flavor we ordered. The waiter brought a bowl of ice cream with the correct flavor. The service was very slow and dinner ended up being 2 hours even though we were one of three tables there. We had to ask for napkins, glasses of water, and finally our bill. The bill came and we expected to pay tax and gratuity (the meal was already paid for through Groupon). Our dinner was "valued" at $105 with an automatic 18% gratuity added! At most, based on the prices on their menu, our meal would have cost around $70. Besides that, we should not be told what to leave as a tip. This was our first time dining here, and most certainly our last.

Great Scenery, good (but not great) food. Service is a little slack, i had to wait a few minutes just to order an extra glass of water. There are better places to go for hibachi in the area, like Danny's in Howard Beach or Arirang in Bay Ridge.
Chefs are very talented here, though.
