Went there on Friday August 14th. All I can say is AMAZING! We had been there several months ago and Loved It! When making plans this night my husband said what about that Great restaurant on Merrick Rd. and I thought it would be perfect!!! We took childhood friends there....the atmosphere, food and service was superb! Everything is fresh and made to order. The food is sooo good I can't even explain! It is now our little Gem on Merrick Rd. :) Nick you made us feel like family. Trust me you will not be disappointed.....I never fill these out but they truly deserve it for excellence~~ KAREN

Went there with my wife on a Friday (started to snow). We were early but we picked a great time because the restaurant was empty and the evening rush hadn't come yet. The Manager is a fantastic guy who also made the desserts for the night. The homemade bread was delicious. I had the snapper and it was very good. I filled myself with stuffed clams as well. The Manager also took our coats which was great.

Do not be fooled by the outside! The concierge service (light banter of the manager) makes you feel at home. The decor is fantastic, you would not believe how they have decorated this neighborhood restaurant. By the time we left half the tables were filled.

The only draw back is it is small ( so larger parties will be difficult) but for smaller parties if you can reserve a table it is worth the money. I definitely would go back again. If you love Italian food and live on Long Island definitely work a taste. BTW I don't give 5 stars to anything.

had a very long wait to get our reserved table. another party walked right in and got the table we thought would be ours. they ran out of specials on the dinner menu at 8 PM and the air conditioner dripped on my friend. the food was ehhh. we will not be going back.

Outstanding food and terrific attention to detail in their service! Wonderful specials. Home made deserts. A+
