Anthony and his wife are seasoned bait and switch artists. I had to get the POLICE to their shop to get my items back.They are great tailors - no doubt about that. If you befriend them, then when you come back collect your items, they will claim to have done extra work and raise the price.
In my case, we agreed on 4 suit jackets for $45 and the other 3 for $20 for a grand total of $220. When I came to collect my jackets, they demanded that I pay them $65 each for a grand total of $455. When I objected, he and his wife began to scream at me both in English and in Italian. Anthony even warned me to remember that he is an Italian and to pay him the $455, no questions asked. They moved to confiscate my jackets. I dialed 9-1-1! They then told the police that they will settle for $45 for each jacket for a grand total of $315. Their temperaments were so bad that day that I even feared for my life.
Please keep it extremely professional with these people. Get every little detail about the work specifications and pricing in writing. Do not let their age fool you. They prove that wisdom does not truly come with age. Do not befriend them - ever. Anthony will try to peddle to you his old Italian CDs. Only purchase any of those CDs if you or someone you know would like his style of music. However, I cannot vouch for their quality of their service to you if you decline to purchase.
