I can never thank Dr. Foti enough for all he has done for me.
Before I started treatment with him I was horribly sad, anxious, and many times
considered the "last drastic" measure. But then I would think my appointment with Dr. Foti
is coming up soon! He'll know what to do! Every time he would!
Today I am much more content, at peace, and self-assured.
I got married, have a beautiful baby, and my life has made a 180 degree turn!
I couldn't have done it without Dr. Foti's expert, kind, considerate treatment and care!

- Terrible #25640
I had a shocking and very upsetting experience with Anthony Foti (as described below). Although we never met in person, he smear my name and reputation with terrible internet reviews.
I returned to work after a week’s absence (recovering from knee surgery at the end of May) to find a message from one of my clients about a “nasty Yelp review on me from someone in Brooklyn.” (She was shocked.) I too was horrified when I viewed it; I recognized that Anthony Foti was the only possible source. Anthony contacted me right before my scheduled surgery and requested a meeting. He specifically asked to see two diamonds (“stock nos: 25041 and 25043”). Hampered by my knee injury and the impending surgery I put off all other commitments but made an exception for Anthony because he was eager. A day before the meeting (scheduled 05/23) he called and asked to see three other diamonds. I told him that I will have available the requested #25043 plus at least two others with his indicated parameters and within his budget but, that I cannot guarantee availability for the newly requested stones. I explained that I will try to get #25041 and informed him that although it’s cheaper (by about $500) it has inferior cut parameters such as a 1:1.76 “length-to-width” ratio (exceedingly thin and long for a Pear shape often producing a “bowtie effect “) combined with an extremely “Thick Girdle”. Also, I told him that I prefer my wife who is a GIA Graduate Gemologist and/or I (also a GIA Graduate) to examine all diamonds before recommending them (especially with SI2 clarity grades which may not be “eye-clean”).
I believe that it is my job to disclose and explain to clients all pertinent information (the good, bad and ugly). Yes, sometimes the information is not pleasant to hear. When I learned that Mr. Foti felt that I was being blunt, I apologized (in writing via email…see below, and in a subsequent voice message). Most people tell me I am too soft spoken, so this really took me by surprise.
The fact is, I had four beautiful diamonds ready for him to view at his scheduled (confirmed) meeting. They were ALL within his budget (some significantly under), they were all Premium or Very Good Cut, and they were all 100% clean to the naked eye. One of the stones I had FedEx’d in at my expense. Mr. Foti did not show up (nor cancel his confirmed appointment). I’ve tried to reach him (by phone and email) but he’s dodging me. (Once he actually answered but quickly hung-up.)
I’ve been in the diamond business since 1991 and my reputation has always been impeccable. I’m shocked that Mr. Foti would tarnish my name over a misunderstanding with horrible internet reviews based on about a two minute phone conversation (considering that I’ve never personally met him). And, I cannot understand why he would not give me the opportunity to demonstrate that my intentions were honorable and solely aimed for his benefit.
