Service leaves much to be desired and there is nowhere to park. Many other options nearby, I like Astoria Veterinary Group better.

Dr. Gapas is great as are the other veterinarians. The technical staff works hard and I like them. I frequently board my two dogs and they get good care while I'm away. I depend on this firm to care for my dogs. They aren't perfect, but they provide an excellent service and listen to me. As is always the case, you need to be in charge of your dogs health, and this team will educate you, care for your pets, and will work with you to ensure your pet has the best care money can buy.

Dr Gapas, Jane and Bidette are all amazing people. I have taken all of my dogs to LIC Animal Clinic for the last 17 years, and even though I moved out of the neighborhood 10 yrs ago, I still make the trip to Dr Gapas's, and I wouldn't dream of going anyplace else. Dr Gapas has a heart of gold. She has seen my dogs through some tough times. Every time she has treated my dogs, whether for a minor sickness or a major surgery, the dogs have always been better off for Dr. Gapas's having attended to them.

This place was one of few vets open on Sunday but I see its just to prey on the desperate. After three days they couldn't do much for my cat so I went to another vet and they healed him in 2 hours. Just so you know if you leave your pet overnight make sure you pick them up before 12pm the next day or they'll charge you for another day like a hotel. The staff won't mention this policy to you until it's too late and the doctor won't talk to you until after 2pm when their finish looking at new patients coming in. Besides they don't do anything overnight.

- Very Good #44864
I live with my cat from my childhood, so she is approximately 14 years old. When we moved to the area, I brought her in to find she has the very typical issue (for elderly cats) of kidney failure. I worried about her quality of life most of all, and fortunately, the clinic easily showed me how to care for her myself so that she did not have to travel to the clinic too often, and essentially, they taught me how to nurse her back to health! How wonderful for both of us. If you have an old cat, they know what to do.
