Purchased major work and paid for framed price, work came unframed and gallery would not make up the difference or provide frame. Out several hundred dollars as a result. They did, to be fair, offer $200, but the difference was several hundred dollars. When I argued, they refused to send the $200. Shipping was slow, had to ask again and again, and they could not locate paperwork when I went to pay. They were enormously patient with me, however, allowing me to pay for piece over extended period of time, with a nice discount. Edlin is a major art dealer, but he did refuse to refund me money that he 1) promised he would; and 2) was a breach of the agreement. They also have hidden fees, big up charge for paying with credit and wanted me to pay shipping. Major gallery, but a tad shady and they go back on their word. Unethical at the core, and so it makes you question authenticity, etc., those kinds of issues.
