Amore Rent-A-Car

Had to rent a car through insurance for replacement. The ford I got started smoking and leaking coolant in the middle of a highway, 80 miles away from the shop. Cars break, it happens. But their handling of this situation was superb. I had to leave the car nearby where it happened and take a cab. Amore sent a tow truck with another car to where I was in Phili, free of charge. They also reimbursed the $60 cab fee. Would recommend them to anyone!

I used this car rental few times. Car was okay and I got a pretty good deal with them. However, the girls on the phone DO have strange attitude. I can assume there is no passion because it is not the type of job they are happy with.

HORRIBLE!!! When i called prior just to be sure they will be open, I felt like I called hospice or something, no greeting-nothing, like someone just had died. I came in to the office i didnt even get a hello forget "welcome". Its like they didnt want me to be there. The girl on front had no manners how to greet a customer, the way she spoke like she is doing me a favor. Never again i will uses their service. The car was fine, other rental places have more friendlier and welcoming staff. I left with uncomfotable akward feeling.

Love these guys. Take the trip all the way from the Upper East to rent from them. Will not go anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Have been using this company a few times and overall had positive experience. However, they CANNOT guarantee you get the car you reserved, or even A CAR. On my last reservation the girls at the front desk told me there is no car for me, even though I reserved it a month in advance, called them to double check and confirmed the day before coming. When I arrived, they told me "all the clients extended their rentals", so I was left with my luggage, rushing to find another rental company from my cell phone and driving around in taxi, before the battery runs out and rental companies close. They even refused to help me to find a replacement. I would NOT recommend to anyone with more or less fixed itinerary, as they can let you down any time. Since that incident I've been using other more reliable places. Otherwise, as a walk-in rental, I guess they are fine.
