Ametis Pizza

As I'm writing this review, I have been waiting an hour and thirty minutes for 2 pies. The girl who answered the phone is rude and unseemly only offering "The delivery is on its way" and even hanging up on me. I have been a customer here for over a year and I will not be returning and I will let people know not to order from here. She even refused to refund my money after the fact. ***This is an update. The owner contacted me and was very apologetic. He asked what he could do to make it right and ultimately retained me as a customer. That personal touch is very important to me, so I will give it 3 stars for now and will improve the rating as they rebuild their rapport with me.

Hey hey...now that's a pizza pie...without the RUDE people from Angelo's & guess what...it's cheaper than when Angelo's has there"specials"!! Hey like I've been yelping & Google reviewing about the absolutely most RUDE, IGNORANT, LYING,DARN RIGHT ASS WHO TREATS PEOPLE LIKE GARBAGE WHEN Angelo isn't around or is & that FOOL who thinks he's the man Hindu gets fired for good...I'm going to keep enjoying all of his competition & telling everyone I know that you don't have to be treated like it's a problem to make an order & enjoy a great pizza in this area!! Your days are numbered Angelo's ...just keep that idiot there & he'll drive all your loyal customers away after they too...have just had it with the way he treats CUSTOMERS!! Not his crew of friends he hangs out with @ the pizzeria... It's a very very competitive market out there & your welcome on Market street with Gary , Jerry, or Joey, who he lies about too is gone for good... Your a very overcooked owner of what used to be a good place to grab a pie from...I almost & I did say almost feel bad for you that you would allow such a RUDE guy bring you down...but your the boss & owner ...balls in your court...get rid of they SOB or pay the consciences when it's all gone!!

On May 28 I ordered a large pie with extra cheese throughout and half peperoni - half veggie (tomato, pepers and onions). The total I was charged was $ 20.10 , two additional dollars than my previous orders. I used to order at least twice a month there the same style pies and the price was always $ 18.00 , I gladly left everytime the $2 as a tip to make a round $ 20.
Now questioning the lady why price was increased she did not give me a satisfactory answer and she did not show me the breakout of the cost. The worker, a new Young gentleman looked at me and showed his disatisfaction but he did not comment. He prepared the order and arriving home and opening the box I realized I had the absolute worst pizza I ever saw.... Peperoni? only 6 slices, extra cheese melted in the middle of the pie, mushy and greasy. The pie was burnt on the edges but not cooked inside. Obiviously tht was a revenge for my question of the price. They changed the team, the Young lady cashier was arrogant compared to previous ones, the pizza worker by far less competent... Initially I was planning to go back to the store and show them but I realized it is not worth the gas...But for sure, this is the last time when I will stop at this place and I will tell about my experience to all my neighbors and friends...
Get back on track Ameti if you want to remain in business, otherwise Clifton will reject you very soon!

Absolutely ridiculous! 7:00 on a Saturday and this place apparently was "TOO BUSY" to make a order for pick up. I was willing to wait longer for it but I was rudely told they would not be making anything for me today and that I shouldn't call back and try and order again tonight. What kind of pizzeria can't keep up with the demands and more importantly, (unless there was a major event going on) what kind of pizzeria TURNS DOWN BUSINESS!?!? SHOW SOME TACT!

Terrible, I was very disappointed, the service ruins everything that I thought they stood for. Won't be going back... I wish I could take my vote back for helping these fools win 2nd best pizza in Clifton. Shame, very undeserving.

Going back to BRUNOS!
