I've been going to Americana Salon for years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my cuts. They are expensive but worth it. Belinda, one of the owners, does my hair and she is by far the best stylist I've ever had. Some people see getting their hair cut as a social experience, but I'm not given to small talk, and she fits my personality. She also knows how to work my hair. I have thick, unruly hair that's processed and I'm too impatient to actually learn how to work with it. I always try to get them to cut and style it in ways that are totally unrealistic (I guess nobody's happy with their hair and I'm no exeption!), and she's very good at steering me out of my fantasies and in the right direction. I have had highlighting and eyeborws done there in the past, and wouldn't do it again because of cost, but that's not a knock against them. I would recommend Americana Salon to anyone.
