American Movie Company

American Movie just did a project for me on very short notice: taping 28 scripts using an actor I found, then editing and producing the short videos for upload to YouTube. I arrived to find six crew members actively working to prepare for our shooting day; every last person working on the project was knowledgeable, helpful, kind and professional. Each knew his or her role, and the crew worked together seamlessly, helping to bring my idea to life. This is a full-service operation with great prices and super-talented, caring project management and production. Hats off to Parm, Arie, Roman, Lou, and company president Bill for taking on this project and bringing it to life!

We recently did a four camera webcast from the American Movie Company Green Screen Stage in Tribeca.

The shoot went perfectly. Our clients relaxed in the comfortable client lounge and watched the show.

We had plenty of bandwidth (over 30mb uplink) and the soundproof control room was very well equipped with our HSDSDI camera and ClearCom cables routed through the wall to the Tricaster 8000. We recorded in 4K but streamed in 1080p

They also gave us 4G bonded cellular back up as our webcast was mission critical to all the "C" level staff worldwide in our client's company.

The studio is huge by Manhattan standards 55' X 35' with 16.5' ceilings. Our set was a combination of green screen and practical so we were able to use the in-house dolly and jib and still have the production value of a virtual set.

We used the TriCaster 8000 which was more than adequate for our needs.

But the best thing about the experience was Bill Milling's staff and crew. The are technically proficient and extremely creative so we had tons of great input.

As a result of this positive experience, we are using the American Movie green screen studio to webcast our other client's new yoga series.

This past Saturday my client and I were at the Green Screen Stage to shoot a scene to be incorporated into the soap opera documentary to be aired on Portuguese Television. It is called "Laços de Sangue", "Blood Ties". Interviews were done at various places and we also rented a teleprompter from Teleprompter Rental. The operator was terrific. Professional and very helpful. We can only say they are the best! We always have a great experience. They are totally reliable. We highly recommend the American Movie Company.

I had the pleasure of working with American Movie Company at the Chelsea South studio last week. I was conducting a series of interviews and needed a hard white cyc that would be able to accommodate between 2 - 3 people. The studio space is spacious, comfortable and clean. The shoot lasted about 7 hours. Everyone was professional and friendly throughout the day. I am coming back in January to shoot the next set of interviews.
