American Elevator & Machine

We have lived in this building for many years and elevator repair/maintenance firms have come and gone. ALL did terrible work. Well American not only repairs the elevators, they stop the sounds that make listening to them IN the cabs and in the apartments terrible. They keep the elevators running and when the voice says you are on the eleventh floor, you are on the eleventh floor. If the doors are adjusted to close after you board so you dont have to press the close door button it stays that way. And no one has gotten trapped on a stuck elevator. The board can only do what the maintenance company tells them has to be done. If they dont repair appropriately, the money is wasted and the co op board gets blamed. American REALLY DOES FIX THEM. And they are not here every other week because the repairs werent good, or other things resulted that caused more repairs. They get here quickly and are done before you would expect them to be.
