only place in Glen Cove that's always busy. Anyone who gives a negative review simply hasn't eaten there or is a local competitor trying to help their business. Come in and see why it's always busy. Nothing is spared at Amalfi, top ingredients. Cheese is the biggest. They use the most expensive out there. There is no comparison. Place is beautiful, service exceptional. And what they don't sell they throw out or give to the less fortunate. Check the others when they open and you'll see they are using products left over from the day before. If something is wrong the owner will make it right.

I ordered a GLUTEN FREE pizza with GLUTEN FREE meatballs. To my surprise and devastation I found some pieces of spaghetti in the sauce after eating 1 mediocre meatball. Not only was the food I ate contaminated with GLUTEN, but how the heck did little pieces of pasta get in the sauce? Was this leftover from another persons half-eaten dish? DISGUSTING AND A HEALTH HAZARD! Especially to those with Celiac Disease or Gluten Intolerance. And now I'm sick from it to top it all off-- can't believe I paid that much money for a poor-tasting meal that made me sick.

Almafi's, love it! They have hit the nail on the head as far as blending a pizzeria and family restaurant. I have never been disappointed with anything that I have ordered. The fresh slices that I've taken to go have all been delicious. So far, I've tried the regular, white, and my favorite...the chicken francaise pizza. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I've also had their calzones and chicken rolls...and they were great. Unlike the previous review, I didn't think that the ricotta had too much pepper at all. As well, the prices are very reasonable. Aside from ordering to go from the take out menu, I've also had dinner at Amalfi's. Again, there hasn't been anything that has disappointed. They have very generous portions and for the high quality of the dishes that are prepared...very reasonable prices. It's nice to be able to try dishes there without worry that they won't meet expectations. So far, every course and dish that I have tried have met mine. The restaurant area has cozy boothes, tables, is warm and very welcoming. I'm also picky about cleanliness, and I dont have a single complaint. Another great thing about Amalfi's, they deliver. I've yet to try their pasta nights, but will. They have $12.95 pasta dinners on Monday's and Tuesday's that include a choice of either a salad and dessert or wine and soup. Just as I've told my family and friends, try it and enjoy!

I am smiling just thinking about the pizza here. I highly recommend trying the white pizza slices, but everything is mouth watering. I live out of town so I usually get a few extra slices when I'm here to heat up. It is the only place to bring out-of-towners for real NY pizza.
Besides having great food, it has a warm, relaxing friendly environment and the customer service is top notch. Come check it, just don't sit at my table on the right near the window, ok? ;)
