Alvin & Friends Restaurant

This is my third time here with family, as usual the atmosphere is great, great music over, the chatter of conversation, my daughter of two loves the lights and paintings, Alvin came to great us and gave her cheeks a squeeze, food was awesome, we'll be back!

The jerk rubbed duck breast is a fall/winter seasonal item that must be tried. It was absolutely delectable. The owner Alvin always walks around to welcome all of his customers with a smile. The service was excellent. The ambiance was excellent. The food was beyond excellent and well worth the slightly longer than average wait. The live music was an added bonus as well. You will not be disappointed coming here.

We loved the fact that Alvin himself greeted us upon our arrival and was attentive during our visit. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The food (shrimp & grits, fried chicken dinner) and the pomegranate martini was truly delicious. We were there on a Thursday which was Caribbean night and the music was just right for a romantic evening. This was our first visit, but definitely not our last! Keep on doing what you are doing Alvin! Oh and by the way the artwork is fantastic!

This place is top notch. From the food, to the hospitality, to the ambiance and decor Alvin and friends restaurant is a must dining experience for anyone in the Westchester County area.

My wife and I celebrated our 9th year wedding anniversary. The owner Alvin greeted us as we were seated at our table and even brought us two glasses of champagne at the conclusion of our meal. I ordered the shrimp & grits and my wife ordered the curry clam chowder and house salad. We also indulged in a rum punch each and a coconut cheesecake & brownie with ice cream for dessert. Everything was so delicious and flavorful.

I would recommend Alvin and friends restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful all around dining experience.
