Does not care about his patients. "So what do you want me to do" nice choice of words coming from a person who you think is there to help you.

This doctor's bedside manners are, for lack of better words, deplorable! His license should be revoked!

DO NOT VISIT THIS DOCTOR!

Dr. Altman's manner may be matter-of-fact but he is an EXCELLENT doctor and surgeon. We worked a miracle on my wrist from my first visit to my last. When you go, have your questions/concerns clearly in mind or write them down. He will sincerely address them.

If you are thinking about seeing this doctor, think again. I would not recommend his services. He rushed me so quick, total visit was about 6 minutes long. He then proceeds after by sending me to get an MRI done literally 2 doors down, and so I end up making an appointment with them. What ended up happening was I made the appointment, and when I showed up for it, they were unable to see me because it turns out they don't perform MRI's with die injections. Why would a doctor write a prescription and send me to a place that doesn't even do what he suggested. He has no business referring business, when he clearly doesn't even know the services that they offer. As a result, I lost my time ( half a day) and money.I would also like to note that I was unaware of the fact that he prescribed me to get a special MRI with a die injection. He never even mentioned that during my initial visit. If he did, I certainly would have had alot of questions regarding that. I called him to return my call to try and resolve this while I was still at the MRI place, I called him twice and waited an additional 30 minutes to hear back from him but he never returned my call. Also the people that work there are very rude and unprofessional.

Waited over an hour to be taken care of, Dr. Altman looked at my x-ray, sent me next door for a cat-scan on my wrist after informing me it was fractured. He told me he wanted to see the extent of the fracture, how serious it truly was. 2 hours later after I received the cat-scan I returned to his office 3:30 pm. Mind you his office hours were supposedly until 4, his receptionist told me he left and to return in 2 to 3 days for my results!!!!...I desperately told her my wrist is broken and I have to return to work!!!!...The following morning I was able to make an appointment with another orthopedic, picked up my cat-scan photos from Altman's office where his receptionist told me the only reason I had to wait for an appointment was because it takes 2 to 3 days for results. Went directly to the other orthopedic's office where they called the imaging center and were faxed my cat-scan results within 10 minutes!!!! I realized through my experience with this office I realized that all the negative reviews I read about this office are true.....He's lucky to receive 2 stars...Believe me!!!!!!
