Alternative Heat

We had a Mendota gas fireplace insert installed by DJ at Alternative Heat and it is WONDERFUL! Dealing with DJ and his wife Kathy was an absolute pleasure. They are true professionals and guided us through the entire process from choosing the model, dealing with town permits and inspections and finally the installation. The unit has pretty much heated our whole house this winter. Our heat kicks in in the morning and when we turn on the insert unit it heats the downstairs so the thermostat shuts off our regular heat. The heat rises to the second floor and we can shut all the doors except the bedroom and it is warm when we go to bed. I highly recommend JD and Kathy at Alternative Heat.....you won't be disappointed!
