Small and cozy. Delicious, fresh pastry and fresh made amazing sandwiches and focaccia. Original croissants. Loved the almond croissant!

Went on a long run from west 14th street to battery park and over BKL via BKLN bridge. I decided to stop by there after reading many positive reviews. Had a Pain Aux Raisins and an Ice Coffee. The pain aux raisins is really good, I mean really good, taste exactly like what it would in any good bakery in France (as a frenchy I used to eat a minimum of 3 a week). Ice coffee on the other hand does not taste like french coffee at all, as usual around here, over roasted beans are used to brew coffee and this brings a heavy bitterness burnt taste that's not too pleasing. So next time i ll pas on the coffee and take more viennoiseries :) They are a bit pricey (3.5 each) but hey they taste really good....

The almond croissant and chocolate almond croissant are the best I've had. Friendly service. Fresh baked goods. Grab some food and coffee from here and sit at the park. This is Brooklyn at its best.
