I am certain that the positive reviews on this establishment are false.

I attempted to go to Allure for my third Velashape session earlier today. My experiences thus far have been meh, but I will no longer plan to go from now on and am seeking a refund.

For my first confirmed session, Chara opened the door for me and I waited 45 minutes for my first session. Chara did not explain the process at all, and Velashaped me as I peppered her with questions. Not ideal, but like I said, meh. I will return.

For my second confirmed session, the place was closed. Yeap. 7 degree weather I trekked it out there and it was closed. Supposedly, they open at 10am and I was there at 11:30am for my appointment, and I saw nothing but the metal gate covering the storefront. I waited 12 minutes in the cold and trudged it back home. Valerie called me back about 30 min. later, not very apologetic and I returned later that day for my session. She was nice enough, but again... meh.

For my third confirmed session, the place was closed. This time, in 24 degree weather. I had called and left voicemails, and have not had any calls returned.

Having confirmed appointments and the establishment be closed 2 out of 3 times is unacceptable. Service was also meh. I find it very hard to believe that any of these raving reviews are true.

My two daughters and I could not be happier with the service we receive at Allure. We have been going to Allure for 6 months in order to complete our laser hair removal package and are each time warmly welcomed by Valarie, our cosmologist. She is polite and engages in friendly conversation and makes the experience as pleasant as laser hair removal can possibly be.The atmosphere is very chill-axed and the boutique is cozy and clean. The results have been incredible and we could not be more satisfied.

I’m a repeat customer and have had a variety of services at Allure over the past few years. From laser hair treatment to European facials and fruit acid peels, all were done with the utmost care and professionalism. The staff is extremely skilled and immensely pleasant. Always a joy to book my next appointment!
