I hired AIO to help me move 30 years worth of stuff in my house.
The gentleman who came to do the estimate was not shocked by the amount of items being moved. (But I was). We quickly toured the house and in minutes afterwards he told me the game plan with an estimated number of hours that it would take.
On moving day 4 movers showed up with a 26' truck and got to work right away. They were super efficient and friendly. I bought them lunch and dinner as it took an all day.
The best experience I have had thus far.
Thanks guys!

One of their trucks went by my house as I was outside, it's a 45 mph residential zone and they were speeding and attempting to pass someone on a double solid line!!!! A car was coming from the opposite direction and they had to quickly swerve back over into their lane!!! It was absolutely unbelievable!!! Sure we all have our "driving" moments... But a company vehicle, that size, with other people's stuff in it.... I seriously almost just watched one of their trucks massacre some people!!! (There was a car in front that they were trying to pass, a car behind them watching the whole thing, and a car coming at them at one point in the opposite lane!! It was insane!! Not to mention these houses are literally feet from the road!!! So if your stuff is scratched, broken, or you get a call saying it's spread all over the road in front of someone's house.... It was probably the driving!!! For real though...

Very unprofessional. They argued with each other, complained about working and forgot to move some of our stuff. Had to pay someone else in addition to paying them. Also....they broke some items and banged up the inside of my home.

Please note that this moving company quoted me $5299.88. I made sure it was a binding estimate – not to exceed. Contract says it is binding and can’t be raised if you have an on-site estimate. I not only had an onsite estimate I asked several times if they could raise that during pick-up and was told only if I added supplies. Funny thing is I actually had less stuff at pick-up then I had when the on-site estimator came out because I donated like 15 bags of stuff. Somehow though day of the move after it was over they said I owed $9636.10. They claim it was because they ended up doing the move by cubic feet. If that was the case that is the estimator’s fault. You can’t almost double a BINDING estimate. I had no choice but to sign the papers they gave me though and pay the charge because they had my stuff on a truck and I had to vacate my apartment that night. They even made me sign something saying I wouldn’t dispute that charge. It’s not worth the paper it’s written on though because they obviously have you sign that document because they knew it was disputable. Fast forward to delivery day and almost every single piece of my furniture was ruined. Also they had commented that my inventory increased by a certain amount and they kept ttrack of that by putting stickers on items. It’s supposed to be one sticker per item and they are numbered 1 – 150 or something. Well I noticed certain items have several stickers on them. For instance I took a photo of one mirror that had 4 stickers on them (105-108) so in their final inventory they listed that particular item four times so it appeared I had three more items than I did. That is just the one example. I have to look at other boxes to see how many times this happened. Meanwhile I had to pay the final balance of $4,568.05 in cash and I have a receipt showing that. All in all this move was atrocious and with the damage they caused to my furniture it is going to cost me a fortune.

Do not use! This is a bait and switch company! They hook you with prices that are about 50% of respectable companies like Allied Movers. They don't visit to size up the job and this is intentional. When they arrive you can count on prices going up. Do not ever allow the mover to pack for you.
I planned a move from NJ to TX. The price quoted, with some packing, was to be around $3600. This was essentially a small living room of items, a dining room set, some kitchen items, one person's clothes, one bedroom set and miscellaneous items like wall paintings and such for an 87 year old lady. I was setting this move up from TX.
The sales person is cheerful enough and minimizes and issues and makes it "seem" like it's all going to go fine.
What you don't realize from a setup like this is, rather than basing the move on weight, they analyze it by square feet. The prices start rising. The contract allows for them to reneg on the original quote and redo it on the fly.
And, they promise the whole trip will be on one truck. This is a lie. You find out at the tail end that once it hit's the NJ border, it is offloaded on to a contracted freight truck with a dozen other moves!
The truck showed up in a timely enough fashion, but even though it was a given up front that it was moving to an apartment, the 75 ft truck could not fit in the parking area. So $300 more due to the extra walking and there were only two guys. They flatly explained how they couldn't profit if they hired any more helpers. So if I wanted this move to finish in under 10 hours, I physically had to participate in the lugging of dozens of boxes and some heavy furniture. Insane that from a liability perspective, they would even allow that. But they did.
Then, we find out a bed foot board, not on the inventory but, per witnesses, was packed, never arrived. $500 value. And one box, not on the inventory did arrive, that we could verify based only on the handwriting on the box.
8 hours later, we were finally done.
Not surprisingly, the salesman didn't want anything to do with me once the crud hit the wall and I was forwarded onto a customer service (hah) lady who proceeded to tell me tons of excuses and was defensive of their "quality". It is now a month later, and the customer service person has disappeared and the moving people are claiming the foot board was never loaded.
Emails are now going unanswered.
I decided to prepare a NJ Division of Consumer Affairs case for Deceptive Practices. I only wish we went with the Allied move, which would have been A to Z and, even though it seemed high at first, turned out to be $1000 cheaper! And there would have been 4 people at the delivery end, not 2.
Good luck.
