Alex and Ray are the best. I've been to a few mechanics before, and they could not figure out what was wrong with my Volvo. Alex figured it out the same day. I highly recommend them.

I brought my car here for a full brake job. Whether they used the wrong parts or did the installation incorrectly, the brakes needed to be redone in about 19,100 miles. Rather then the 50K or 60K miles a brake job should last. They were not cheap either. This was the first and only major work they have done form me and I will not be using them ever again.

Sooooo grateful to have found Alex & Ray @ ALK! They are the best and I would recommend them hands down above and beyond any other Volvo repair shop!

Like many other Glen Ridge/Montclair Volvo owners, I was very disappointed that DCH closed the service. I didn't feel like taking my car to Summit or Livingston was worth the hassle.

I was very lucky to find out that ALK Auto has opened right across the street where Montclair Volvo used to be. The service is top notch and very friendly. Their prices are most reasonable compared to non-Volvo specialists in the area and they make you feel like an appreciated customer.

I highly recommend anyone in the GR, Montclair area to try them out and give the local small business owners a chance to serve you well. I did and I am very happy with the experience and the results!
