Those 2010 reviews are out of step with what's going on there now. My family and I have been there at least half a dozen times since driving by one day last summer and being stopped in our tracks by the heavenly smell of their BBQ. We literally followed our noses to one of the most delicious chicken/rib combo dinners we've had in years. The yellow rice was cooked just right. & we got steamed veggies instead of the fries. Talk about heaping portions! No evidence of rude staff anywhere. Nice friendly neighborhood atmosphere. This place is terrific. You can't go wrong.

I am happy to have a place like this nearby as an alternative to the usual pizza and Chinese options for takeout. The chicken dinner with fries and rice is an inexpensive and satisfying meal that feeds 3-4. The only negative is the Fox News on the flat screen tv.
