Fiat of Larchmont was an amazing experience for me. After searching for a car for many months , and going to many different dealerships , I finally made an appointment at Fiat and purchased the 500X . I can honestly say that I'm very, very happy with my new car and what made it such a wonderful experience was my sales Rep Vito , he is awesome.. He made it very easy for me to purchase, because I felt no pressure what so ever my transaction was gimmick free with no hidden fees and the finance manager Kevin sealed the deal.... Thank you Fiat for my wonderful experience

Rebuttle to the Owners response to my review:

Nonsense.

My car has never been in an accident and you, nor any other studio, have never diagnosed “suspension or steering damage” in my car, and no such repairs have ever been undertaken. The “colorful history” you allude to is repeatedly being charged for alignment work that was never effected, by both Ramsey and yourselves, to address an out of spec camber condition that is indeed the result of sloppy manufacturing tolerances and which FIAT Fairfield, not you, correctly and honestly diagnosed, and addressed by installing camber bolts without charge.

Regardless: No previous history can excuse the belligerent and delinquent attitude and responses of your service department in my most recent experience with you, which was of necessity rather than choice, you can be sure. You dismissed yet another opportunity to redeem your long- and heavily-tarnished reputation and your continued efforts to deflect responsibility or to provide quality service experiences will surely prove short-sighted in the end.

Original Review:

Run from this dealer, do not walk: Run; run fast, run far.

In fact, don’t even buy a FIAT: this dealer is not alone in following FCA’s “Pirate Class” service paradigm. I speak from personal experience with them, FIAT Ramsey and FIAT Fairfield.

Despite previous history, but forced to them by the closure of FIAT Fairfield (under their own cloud): Back in July I called FIAT Larchmont for a service appointment, my 2012 500 Abarth was making wheel-bearing noises. Incredibly, I was told I had to wait 2 months; the week after Labor Day. When I stopped in days before to arrange a loaner, I was told I had no appointment - this despite having called in a few times to ask if anything earlier had opened up. I then took another appointment; now another month out, Oct, 5.

On the 5th I was, again incredibly, told they didn’t have the part, a rear hub bearing, and it would be 10-12 days before they could get one, “we called around, nobody has them”.

The next day I myself found the part on two different web sites, one being MoPar online. On the 7th I called FIAT Larchmont’s parts department directly and was told they had “plenty of them”. I immediately called Service back and said I’d be bringing my car back in that afternoon, and was then told there was now a two week wait for appointments…

My next call was to FIAT corporate, who got me into FIAT Danbury (>60 miles away) the next morning. They, even though they were still under construction, had the bearing in stock and were able to get me on my way in two hours, including an oil change.

As of today, 10/20, I still haven’t received a call back from FIAT Larchmont’s General Manager who, I was told, was “in a meeting” when I called on the 7th.

The FIAT 500 is a great car, the Abarth is a grin machine; buy one off-warranty and privately, find a good independent mechanic: FIAT’s dealerships, the Chrysler-adjacent ones especially, are simply not working in the 21st Century.

The service department is very undesirable. I love driving a FIAT, but unfortunately I will not buy another one. The Dealership in Stamford CT had great service; but they are now closed. I have tried Manhattan and Larchmont and both service departments are the worst I have experienced in my life.

It is very sad that such great cars have such a horrible post-sales service.

Think twice, talk to the people that will service your car before you buy.

The sales rep Vincenzo was amazing! He answered all questions. He was charming and well educated on all the cars.
I recommend FIAT of Larchmont to anyone but especially I recommend this sales guys! He really knows his stuff, and he's Italian! What better experience then having a genuine Italian man sell you an Italian car lol. I felt as if I was in Italy, upon inquiry I was offered a cup of Italian espress while we spoke of the car that would fit best my need. Who knew that buying cars would be so fun. It's usually the most painful experience in my eyes but thanks to Vincenzo it was a beautiful, genuine experience.

Thank you very much for my new Fiat 500 convertible and for the great experience

Amazing experience. Service is outstanding, specifically John and Kevin were a great help. Great selection as well. I went in to purchase a pre-owned vehicle, and had one of the smoothest car-buying experiences ever. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. Much more personal than usual car dealerships. I would definitely use again, and highly recommend!
