Before I came to Leland for Alexander lessons I had been to chiropracters, a Chinese herbalist, and had done yoga & tummy exercises over several decades and all with some success for my back troubles. What REALLY worked well was the Alexander lessons. I used to think of myself as someone with back issues who was making modest progress. Now, I no longer think I have back issues. And the process seems so simple that it's sort of magical, given all the tortuous roads I took before this. I highly recommend Leland's lessons.

The Alexander Technique has wrought near miracles in people’s lives, and no one is better at instruction than Leland Vall.
I studied with Leland for 10 months from approximately October 2003 through July of 2004 for a series of 39 private lessons. Not only did my neck problems and pain disappear after only three private lessons, but they’ve stayed away all these years.
My series of lessons was a permanent investment in myself, in my vocal technique, in my acting technique, in my life; money well spent.
