I brought in a pair of cherished penny loafers I only wore at family gatherings and holidays.
I asked the "owner" if he did the "work" himself as I used to use a Italian Shoe Cobbler who sadly passed away who did excellent work in town...
The "owner" (A FAT CHUBBY UNATTRACTIVE NASTY INDIVIDUAL) indicated (lyingly) that he did the work himself
He uses a "speaka no english" "latka" routine when dealing with customers... suspiciously and unconvincing..
Upon returning to get my shoes, he gave a "strange pair" of shoes back...
I REPEATEDLY TOLD HIM the shoes WERE NOT MINE that WERE GIVEN TO HIM
He INSISTED that they were my shoes...
I LEFT THE STORE IN DISGUST...
I have RETURNED TO THE STORE SEVERAL TIMEs to ask the RUSSIAN LOOKING and SOUNDING "owner" his REAL NAME so I can report him to the BBB or THE LOCAL POLICE but
he REFUSED TO GIVE HIS NAME...
I have COME TO LEARN that the "area" from 11th Street to 20th Street in BAYONNE is NOW A RUSSIAN NEIGHBORHOOD, strange for a military town that "was" home to the U.S. Army and Naval Base - MOTBY... that was "supposed" to be "de-commissioned" and the pier (largest military pier in the world that can hold 4 Aircraft Carriers and 2 Destroyers was "never re-zoned" or "re-developed" and the pier and the 'mysterious" DOD Buidling still is used by "unknown actors" as well as Caribean Cruise Lines
I "suspect" his a RUSSIAN MAFIA or SPY INFILTRATOR using the "business" as a "front" to have "strange meetings" with OTHER RUSSIANS seen in the "store" late at night...
And "strangely" I heard a rumor he "sold my shoes" to an individual in Singapore (A Muslim State) for big bucks...
As I am a "famous" Computer Scientist and Researcher formerly with a Silicon Wall Street R&D Group...
There does seem to be "many" of these "blondish" or "grayish' or "orange" hair "russian looking" people in the neighborhood and nearby businesses...
IN ADDITION: I asked the local Chamber of Commerce for his real name and they have yet to respond to my inquiry... I hope they are not "protecting" this "nefarious" individual who may be a "mobster" or "spy"
Bayonne is NOTED FOR THE POLICTICAL MACHINE that "acts" against 'citizens" or "americans" from the town.
