I went on Tuesday March 31st to Albertine bookstore to retrieve a book I had ordered.
I was accompanied by my Service Dog as usual.
I was received by Mrs. Miriam Bridenne who was extremely rude and dismissive to me and to the US federal law concerning the accompanying dogs to people with certain disabilities.
I tried to explain to her what a Service Dog is, handing him the official from DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE but she threw it straight away.
What a lack of understanding from her part. This reaction demonstrated its undoubted ignorance.
A tip ... Boycott this place. We are best served by Amazon.... and it is cheaper.

Albertine is the only reading room and bookshop in New York that is truly devoted to enriching French-American intellectual and cultural exchange. It has an amazing selection of French texts and texts in English translation. The magnificent design by renowned Parisian designer Jacques Garcia (whose credits include parts of the Louvre) alone makes the trip worth it. Sit, relax, and read for hours; because Albertine is inside the Embassy, you are even technically in France! Plus, tens of world-class museums and galleries are at your fingertips in the very same neighborhood.
