Alba's Restaurant

This restaurant is a gem in Westchester County. Fresh ingredients, attentive service, Class A restaurant by all standards.

Generally very good food. The table side Caesar was not the best we've had, but very good. The bolognese was wonderful as was the pasta di fagiole. Service was great and the decor was far from "dark" and quite pleasant. Fabulous wine list.

I live in Port Chester and love to try as many restaurants as possible, well last night I decided to dine at Alba's with family as it was my birthday. When we arrived we were the 1st at 5:30pm we were seated, we ordered drinks after waiting
for awhile and it took the staff 15 minutes to come over and present a menu to us,
in the meantime all 4 were standing like security guards and starring. I decided to ask for the manager and was told that he left, I asked for the bill for the drinks
because I didn't like the service the waiter made a comment and I told him that
it was his lost, and that I understood what he said in his language, he didn't care much. The waitstaff needs to be trained or let go. You just lost a potential customer.
