This place is a disaster. They mangled my order over the phone, sending mostly wrong items. I called and they said they would send the missing things but still wanted to charge for them. Then they never sent them anyway. Ridiculous place.
Update, they just brought the missing parts of the order, 2 hours later!

Garbage service. I ordered delivery, waited an hour, called them, they said they'd call the driver and never did, I called back, they hung up on me when I asked them about the food. There are too many sushi places in NYC to order from these garbage humans.

Restaurants like this live in two separate worlds.

There's the sitting in the restaurant world, where this restaurant suffers a little bit from cramped quarters and poor air circulation. The food's good but it's not really a comfortable interior with a long row of tables on one side of a narrow storefront and two smaller sets on the left. It's hard to get to the back to pay, and it's always 5-10 degrees warmer than it is outside, making summer dining not the relaxing experience it should be.

But as a takeout or delivery place? This is one of the best. The pieces are big and full of fish, and though they charged me an extra $2 to replace the California Roll in my roll combo with salmon, all of the pieces were really tasty and quite filling.

It's a little more expensive than Kiku on 5th Ave (the delivery-only place) but it's also on PPW, so you can expect to pay a little more. They also get it ready quickly, a nice benefit.

Good for anyone in the area, especially if you're ordering in.

The guy who picks up the phone there is rude and annoyed when you ask them the total at the end. They are real schemers. Never order by credit card because theyll raise the tip by a dollar. I should have reported them. The guy there is such a bad guy! Im never ordering from them ever again. They dont appreciate loyal customers. I would order atleast twice to three times a week. I hope they feel it because that business is bad. I litterally lost my appetite when the evil chinese man started cursing me in his language. Their sushi is over priced garbage. I cant believe I tolerated their unproffesional and illigal behaviors. People do not be fooled. Obviously the customer is always right.
