I was not impressed with the quality of the food, most of the dishes were very simple in thier flavors, there was nothing very complex to show a unique flare. Iv never managed to see a place screw up naan bread but mine was so thick it wasnt very enjoyable as the appetiser it should be. I tried a lamb dish, and while i recognise that you can leave bones in for flavor, i was surprised to be stabbed by a few sharp bone fragments hidden in the opaque brown gravy, if i had a child that could have choked on these i would have been furious. I then found numerous large cuts of fat which wasnt at all appetising and reflected upon a failure to trim the meat, and this particular dish overall was probibly up there in the worst ive ever had in my life, although the gravy itself was flavorful. The building itself was very large and ornate and gave the place a very upscale vibe. Its worth a second try i would say, the only thing this place had going was the staff and the atmosphere cause, so i think as an overall review dispite the food sucking horribly, i will still award 3 stars.

Dump. Awful expensive food. Leave it for pretentious ppl. Rude staff. Naan are crap. Tried everything ( shrimp, chicken, lamb chops, lamb korma, bryanni rice, naan, chicken tikka) all sucked with no taste and unsafe undercooked meats. Avoid if you don't want food poisoning.

Some items like saag panneer were good while some items like gobi manchurian, dal makhni, etc. were below average. That's surprising for a supposedly high quality restaurant preparing fresh food at a high price. Waiters weren't pushy, but don't pay much attention either. Overall, it is priced higher for a lower quality food, It is my first and last visit.

Too expensive. I paid $16.95 for a small container of chicken curry that had a few pieces of chicken and mostly sauce. Didn't even come with white rice as many other Indian restaurants do. I had to buy a Naan bread for $3.95. My bill was $20. I've done take-out and dine in and the server on all occasions was rude. It would be too much to explain here. Won't be going back for sure.

Delicious food, with subtle combinations of spices. Good service, and an elegant room. A good sign, for a visitor to Garden City unfamiliar with local restaurants (like me), is that most of the groups eating there had one or more people who appeared to be of Indian descent -- i.e., people who know Indian food eat there. Several family groups with young children, too.
