Aicha's African Hair Braiding

I went to get some information" I waned box braids to be done " was askin some questions about my box braids the lady said she didn't. Get what I was saying????? I was nice I didn't want to act so rude "" never come back to this place

I really have a mixed review about this place. I went a couple months ago and had senegalese twist put in. I paid around $120-$130 I started with one lady that clearly was new at it and she gripped my edges way to tight. Then after like 5 hours the owner had saw the girl was making no progress and put 2 more people on my head. The twist in the middle of my head was way to big and I ended up with a headache for 2weeks! I stopped by today to see how much the shop would charge for the same style and the lady said $160! As nice as my hair had turned out its not worth $160 no way

My co-worker recommended me to Aichas and I must say I was very impressed. The place is clean and bathroom is clean I have been to other braid shops that didn't think cleaniness is a priorty as a business. The young ladies there was very nice we chatted about tv shows. My daughter loved her hair and will be back as for myself I will go to get my hair braided very soon.

Update: I went to Aicha's to get my hair braided in May and at first I was nervous because it was the 1st time I got my hair in Senegalese Twists and I must say I loved them and received so many compliments. I will be going back next week to get them redone for vacation.

I was not happy with the service at all because I didn't get the size braids I paid for when I told the lady she did my hair to big she said they wasn't and they didn't have enough time bcuz it was late. Now most of my braids in the back are coming out its only been 2 weeks. Maybe I could of gotten what I ask for if she wasn't arguing with someone on the phone the whole time she was doing my hair then she started arguing with the other Lady that works their. I work in retail I know the value of customer service and I did not receive that at all. I will try your shop again but I don't want the same Lady to do my hair.

I have to add to my review after aisha read that I wasn't happy with my service she reached out to me to come back to redo my hair.all I can say is my hair is what I wanted it to be from the start. I appreciate you taking the time to make things right. Trust me once I take these braids out i will be back. Thank you.

I honestly can say without a doubt, that this was the worst place that I've ever gotten my hair done! I feel like I spent $140 on nothing; owner is the only one who speaks English while the other few ladies spoke French and their native tongue. I sat there pretending like I did not understand what they were saying while they ridiculed and mocked me. I will never step foot in there again. Only reason they get two stars is bc Law and Order was playing all 9 hours I was there (3 waiting and 6 bc the lady kept taking breaks and didn't want to do my hair and stopped to get someone else to do it). Once the owner left and I was the only customer left things went completely downhill and the ladies started doing whatever they wanted to my hair and the fact that they did not speak English didn't help. Should've went to Dolores.
