I walked in expecting a problem much larger than I actually had, but that doesn't change the fact that I walked in with an unusable laptop and walked out with a functional one in less than five minutes. On top of it all, it was very inexpensive and the staff was very friendly. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Excellent experience with them. I was recommended to them by a co-worker who had their laptop fixed there. Came in and dealt with Ernie after having spoken to him on the phone. He was honest and took the time to explain to me what was wrong with my laptop in great detail. I purchased a laptop from him and couldn't be happier with it or the service. I have dealt with Geek Squad and two other computer shops in the area, and this was my best experience so far. I know where to go now for all my computer needs.

My laptop would not boot up or turn on. I took it to Best Buy to have the Geek Squad take a look, within 3 minutes the Geek Squad Tech told me my motherboard was done and there really wasn't anything I could do and that it would'nt be worth replacing. My brother in law who is also a computer tech told me to take it to Affordable Computer as he has had experience there before. I was greeted by "Steve" who seemed friendly and knowledgable. He told me it could be the "on/off" button on the laptop. Advised me it would be $175 just for him to open it up and take a look, however after talking for a while he got the price down to $126 and if the power button was not the issue, the $126 would go towards a "reconditioned" laptop he would sell me. The next day Steve called to advise me it was in fact the motherboard and told me the "reconditioned" laptop would be another $300 making it total $426. I went to the store to order the "reconditioned" laptop, however before the order I asked Steve for the model # to the "reconditioned" Acer laptop. After stalling for some time he gave me the model #. Before ordering I went home, did some research, and come to find out the laptop he was trying to sell me was last years model and could be bought at Sears or on Amazon for $350 BRAND NEW, NOT "reconditioned". So basicaly Steve was trying to sell me a used, reconditioned, older Acer laptop 4G RAM 500G Dual Core Hard Drive, 15.6 screen for $426. The next day I went back to Best Buy and bought a Toshiba 4G RAM 650G i3 17.1 screen, for $450 brand new. Bottom line is, these guys are NOT Affordable. I'm all about supporting local business, but not when they try to screw me over by selling me a cheap used laptop for $25 less than a newer, better one. I would never recommend them, and will never go back.
