Finding childcare is a scary thing, especially as a new parent. I have to say though, we could not have made a better choice than AIL2. The teachers are kind, loving, and so attentive the staff is amazing and all know my son by name regardless of what class they work in.
We started our son there at 10 weeks and he has now been there for a year and a half. I can't say enough great things. You can tell the staff really cares about the kids and he is so happy to be there and really loves his teachers. They do languages, yoga, music and so many extras with the kids that other schools don't. And the teacher to child ratio is amazing. They also have very low turn over I staff. Even on days when they had 8 babies in the infant room there would be 4 teachers. You don't see that anywhere else! miss Jojo and Lexi could not adore the babies more and miss Miriam and her team are great with the toddlers. He gets so excited to see them each day. And it's amazing to see how much my son has learned there from all of them, from sharing to motor skills and word development.
I'm actually sad to say that we are moving soon, and AIL set the bar high for other daycares for us. We have been looking for a new daycare for our son in our new town, but after being at AIL, none compare. For example, I walked in early one day a few months ago and saw the girls teaching my son to walk and all cheering and clapping for him to take solo steps and genuinely so excited for him. You just can't compare to them!! AIL2 is truly the best!

I usually do not respond to reviews but after reading the previous post I am moved to do so. I am an employee of adventures in learning and have been for the past year. In my time with them I have learned so much and grown professionally and as an individual. I have met some of the most loving women I have ever know and I have created great friendships. We are like a family here. That is why I am so sad to read false statements about this place. We as caregivers give our all to these children, but right now I will speak for myself. I go home everyday drained from work but satisfied knowing that each day I have given everything I have to give to these children. I care for them not just physically but also emotionally. We play, we sing, we dance together and I am aware they see this center as their second home that is why i treat them as if they were my own children. We go on walks we have field trips we have fun extra curricular classes as well as picnics in the summer, when the weather is nice. To say we don't spend anytime with the children because we are busy cleaning is completely inaccurate and I take that very personal because this is my job and for someone to come say i am not doing it is just disrespectful. I take pride on the center I work for and it is very sad to hear that people are willing to mislead others. If you are looking to enroll your child I would suggest you check it out for yourself get a tour and speak to parents that have children enrolled here. To end this I would just like to say that I wasn't ask by anyone to post I felt like it was necessary for me to speak for the me and employees at AIL.

My toddler attended this facility at beginning of 2016. At first we were happy. The classes had big windows and the room always looked clean and structured.
One fine day, my child suffered a mishap. Another child DEEP scratched him right across the face from the temple right down to the lip. The SCAR was so wide and bloody that it took weeks to recover. Ofcourse my child was crying and there were 3 teachers in the room. None of them bothered to call us, make a incident report, apply cream or soothe the child. They absolutely did not care.
When i reported this to the director (who also owns the place), she tried to make excuses instead of disciplining the teachers.
Needless to say, I pulled my child out.
Few other things that make this daycare not suitable:
1. They do not have any outdoor playing area. They do take the children out in the parking lot for a stroll.. but that's about it. 10 mins of stroll in 9 horus. Other daycares in the vicinity actually take the trouble to take the kids out to play in nearby parks.
2. The only time teachers engage in activities with students is when parents are picking up and dropping off, else kids are ignored.
(if you are actual;u considering this place, ask them to show you a video recording for a random date and watch it from start to finish). Teachers most of the time are busy cleaning the place so that parents are impressed instead of actually teaching kids something.
3. They demand two months of notice and deposit equivalent to one month's fee. Most other day cares in the area ask for no or little deposit. They do not impost tariffs such as two months notice. So incase you startout at this place and a week down you realize that your child is not warming up, you still have to stick around for another two months.
If these folks were confident of their services, they would not ask for any kind of contract or deposit.
4. They are on the outskirts of hoboken. Two blocks up and you touch palisades where daycare are 40% cheaper.
