I moved to Woodside in 1996, this was the nearest HIP Center to me. I had chosen HIP as a NYC employee when I started in 1985. Pros of this center, emergency care hours, easy access to bus or subway, wide range of services available on site. Cons some Doctors are really something, but if this is your center, and you are not satisfied you can change easily. I was most fortunate in that I had a wonderful Dr. when I started there. He left to go on to become a hospital administrator. My second Dr. was young, very competent, and thorough. He left due to his own health problems. My current Dr. I have had for the last 15 years. I have moved from Woodside 5 years ago to Nassau county. I would not change this Dr for anything . He is absolutely the best. I go through the hassle of commuting from Freeport to Elmhurst because Dr. Walter Yee is that good. I would not change him for anyone. Very thorough, spends time with you and makes sure all questions answered. He is a credit to his profession. Advantage care has improved this center in many, many ways. This is first class health care and a model center.

All one shop for different type of doctors. Every one is very professional, even has an urgent care in the evenings. However their phone system is the worst. In order to call the office you get routed to a call center in Brooklyn which they ask you all of these tedious questions just to make an appointment.
