DO NOT DEPOSIT. DEPOSIT IS OF NO VALUE IN THIS SHOWROOM: I am receiving a wrong response. The Showroom never came back formally to me to say that the loan was not approved. I had full right to know that !! The finance person told me that he is working on it. Meanwhile the sales guy sent me an email saying car is sold. I have the emails with me. I could have discussed other options !! I need a speedy action for my deposit to be returned !!!!!
I had the worst kind of experience ever with Sunrise Toyota in Valley Stream. I liked a car, we negotiated on a price. Since they needed to know my credit history for financing they said it will take some time to get back to me. I agreed. To make me committed to buy a car and saying that in order to reserve the car I liked, they insisted that I put a deposit and they took USD 500 deposit. They even made me sign all the papers to do my credit check, they made a copy of my ID, they asked for my social security and I gave them all. With all this I had expected them to reserve the car for me. I had earlier told them that I would not buy if they cannot give me on the agreed interest rate and I kept following up with the finance person who was updating me all the time. He never said 'No' and he said he is still working with the banks. Suddenly I received an email from the salesman that he sold the car. I feel very vulnerable and cheated that I trusted them with my social security even !!! They sold the car without telling me that they cannot give me the car on the agreed interest rate and without giving me an opportunity to even work on other alternatives which I could easily have. When I asked the finance person he said he did not know that the sales person sold the car as he deals with finance only. Is there any ethics left with salesmen in Toyota ??? I am never going back to the store again !!!

Dear Anthony ( Advantage Toyota Scion Manager),
I’m absolutely thrilled with our new vehicle. I have been a Toyota consumer for many years now and contrary to personal believe in going into a dealership and seating there for hours to argue a lease deal or finance a new vehicle, I have always been an advocate of purchasing second hand car in the street.
That notion stopped when I sat foot in your Dealership!!!
The level of attention and service that I was provide by your Sales and Lease Consultant Adam Diaz was for lack of a better word Excellent!!! Right of the bat he threat me how I wanted to be treated, like my business was valued. He was very professional, knowledgeable and paid attention to everything I was saying. Never for one second did he drift away from the task at hand which was getting what I needed and answering all my questions.
Until the last minute when I pick up my car, Adam kept me informed of everything that was going until the arrival of the vehicle to the dealership. He Single handed changed my experience and notion of how painful it could be to be in a dealership trying to lease or finance a car.
By the same token I like to congratulate you on doing a great job. I only say that because being a manager myself, you are only as good as the people you surround yourself with (i.e. your workforce).

Had a great experience buying a car at Advantage Toyota. It was a difficult situation as is as I was trying to get the best deal, both with the car price and insurance, by co-signing with my mother. My mother went before me, and was trying to get everything set up before I came in from Manhattan. She was being helped by Aramis before I got there. Aramis went above and beyond by picking me up at the train station, getting us the best possible deal, and staying until 10pm until we finally signed the contract for the car. I would recommend Advantage and Aramis 500% to anybody looking to buy a car.

These are worst pple. All lier staff.. when it comes to selling a car they become the best pple in the field with bumper to bumper protection fundamentals. .when it comes to service and maintenance they just do the wrong diagnostics to give u a big bill.. pls be aware of these people. Or try someother dealer.

Hidden fees left and right. Asked dealer to clearly write out each fee and he conveniently failed to mention there was a $695 fee till the end when I spotted it on the paper. When called out the dealer said he put it on the calculator but not on the paper. Beware of these shady dealers...one of them reeked of alcohol as well. If you are walking into Advantage Toyota get ready to scrutinize every detail for hidden fees and bullied by the dealers. Also sure a lot of the 5 start ratings are fake and posted by the staff. If you want to read accurate reviews look at the large amount of 1 star ratings.
EDIT: Following up after reading owners hilarious response to my review. First of all, the fee was not stated AT ALL on the purchase order but included in the sale price. Second , the car was not a COROLLA but a CAMRY. I guess in the midst of all your lies you couldn't keep track of which car we were discussing. Again, stop treating your clients like idiots and admit to your unethical business practices.
