Awesome Dr n I would love to give them 5 stars... IF IT WASNT FOR THE HORRIBLE RECEPTIONIST THEY HAVE.
Long story short......
I made an appointment to get a vasectomy done.. Dr visit went well but after 30 day waiting I expected to b contacted by the receptionist to schedule an appointment for my surgery.. 15 days later (plus the 30 already waiting) my wife calls n is told rudely to have me call cause "she does not want to repeat herself twice on the information she has to tell me"..
I finally call n she gives me an attitude cause I question her as to y she hasnt called me for the surgery n I get told that "well I called u n if u didnt pick up oh well surgery is for the 28th"... SERIOUSLY?
after 10 mins saying how I didnt get a call I ask for her to confirm my number.. SHE HAD NO CLUE WAT MY NUMBER WAS!!! yet I got attitude over it... she schedule a surgery without consulting the patient.... if it wasnt cause her "next available day " was a month and a half later I kept the appointment she made.
2 days later.. SAME RECEPTIONIST leaves me a message saying my insurance doesnt cover it n that she has to cancel my surgery.. call my insurance PRIOR to calling her back.. they never received a request for such surgery.... n tell me they do just has to go through medicaid.
I call her n she tells me that she did request n my insurance denied me.. n when I finally tell her that I just got off w my insurance n that I knw she is lying cause they NEVER received a request... she goes n tells me "WELL THE DR DOESNT TAKE MEDICAID.. N THATS THAT.. WHAT DO U WANT?" n while im speechless SHE HANGS UP ON ME!!!!
Only to find out from their Queens office that no everything is ok n they do take it but just a different procedure for it to cover it n they couldnt understand what she told me or why she did that....
WORST RECEPTIONIST EVER!!! THEY SHOULD FIRE HER ASAP BEFORE SHE COSTS THEM MORE PATIENTS LEAVING THEM.
AWESOME DR... BUT RECEPTIONIST SHOULD B FIRED ASAP...
