We had our daughter's Baptism reception at the local American Legion. We had been asked if we wanted to use their caterer and we took a chance. The chance we took was well worth it. Coming from a long line of "food snobs", as my husband likes to call us, it was such a pleasant surprise.
Everything we ordered was mouth-watering and delicious. The seafood combo was cooked to perfection. We all know that calamari can be about as delicious as chewing a piece of rubber if not cooked correctly! The meatballs were almost as good as Mama's. If you've tasted my Mom's, it is definitely a compliment to Adrain and Rocky's.
To end our festivities, we had the most delicious Cassata (canoli) cake. The cake part was moist and the canoli filling was heavenly.
The quantity certainly match the quality. I brought home about 2 refrigerator's worth of food and my guests can eat!
