Came to this office for emergency root canal on Tuesday 10/01/2013 and came back again today Friday 10/04/2013. I haven't had a dentist I wanted to keep as my regular doctor, since my old one passed away. Adora dental was very accommodating to my walk-in visit. I work night shift, and couldn't sleep at all since the pain woke me up. I ended up calling then at 10am, --got their at 11am, but there was a oral surgery in progress...so I was told to come back in 2 hours or wait there.
I came back a bit late since painkillers kicked in and I was able to sleep a bit. Dr.Kevin (easier to reference by first name) saw me right away and I was given my options on what to do with this painful, and I mean PAINFUL.....toothache. He said extraction was $200 and $500 for root canal / $1000 if I did the crown too. I decided on root canal and extraction as a last resort, since it's the last tooth in the back. I'm afraid of needles so I asked Dr.Kevin to numb my gums before giving the injection prior to my root canal. I got a cherry flavored numbing cotton swab and it was great ! :) Half my face was numb and I've never been happier !! lol Mind you, my pain was so bad that a dose for every 8 hours only lasted me an hour and half after it kicked in. So I knew I was in " dire " need of a dentist. And was praying they wouldn't try to ripe me off knowing I was dying in pain and would of surrendered to their demands lol. (I got no health insurance)
Tues. did half the root canal, and today did the rest.... BTW, high tech, digital x-ray machine; so my x-ray was on the computer and easier magnified for his and my viewing. It's def. better than the old fashion one on a little x-ray card size of an ice cube.
My tooth was unfriendly, to me and the doctor... he did his best efforts but my canal was blocked and stubborn; so he couldn't finish it. So instead of charging me $250 or the full price, he only charged me $200 even though I offered $250 for the time and effort he put in for my tooth. He didn't try to take more money from me and say pull it out; esp. since any dentist would of recommended saving since I'm in my mid-twenties only.

My family has a long lasting fear and dislike of visiting the dental office... But I will def. be coming back here and keeping him as my regular dentist. :) I scheduled my tooth cleaning for next Sat. and my Mom has now switched over to him as well. And he is my grandparents regular dentist as well. My Dad is on board too :-D
(I'm someone who had a referral to remove my wisdom tooth, waited....364 days out of 365 days calendar year... to see that specialist. Tho he was awsome as well! You get the idea, I didn't want to go. lol)

Very clean, relatively new, no smell of nasty tooth decay when you enter. No weird smells in general actually :) And it's a very spacious office, inside and out. Parking was easily found during both visits. And they take credit card. :-D Receptionist spoke fluent English and chinese as well. (It is located in flushing after all )
