I came in to ask about simple and easy repair, basically to get the cost to replace a blown circuit. The response I received was essentially that it would cost me $20.00 just to get an estimate. I explained to the guy that I was just driving by, saw them, and stopped in. All I asked or was an approximate price to change a small blown circuit. He said I need to go home and bring him the TV so he could check it out, again which would cost $20.00. I told him that I already know what the problem is, and it's just one circuit that needs to be replaced. He refused to give me a price until I brought him the TV so that he could charge me $20.00 first and then tell me how much it would cost.
The guy looked at me like I had two heads and made it seem as if he has no idea what I am even talking about. (A VERY common problem with Samsung LED and LCD TV's.)
I'm sure there is a standard price to replace just 1 small circuit. I turned around and walked out. Called a different place and received a price over the phone right away.
