ACME Markets

Shabby store that is in great need of an update. They should invest in it. People in area willing to pay for high end quality but cannot be found in this store. Everything looks and feels like yesterday, store layout, old, worn, tired, etc. Went today to buy milk and the shelves were half empty. No Skim Plus. Was told problem with truck. Same thing for bread shelves - very depleted stock. Went to produce area to buy spiralized veggies that I have gotten elsewhere, but not here. Food Emporium then A & P went out, wish we would have gotten a Whole Food or Trader Joe instead of this dumpy place. Feels like era of Mad Men. Oh, they discontinued phone order and delivery service too. Will shop there for emergencies only. Oh, somebody pls buy this store and replace it with something better! Location great and there is parking.

The "express lane" is a joke. People are allowed to use it with many more than the 10 items allowed. Today was the last straw. I was in the express line behind an Acme employee (not wearing a name tag unfortunately) who had 19 items in her cart. A second employee with two items asked if she could cut in! So the first employee let the second employee in front of her. I had 4 items but it was a 10 minute wait. Bring back the self check-out (4 lanes) or open extra express lanes and enforce them!!
