I rented a decent apartment in a rundown building. The front door to the building had a defective lock and there were times I had to jiggle the key for half an hour before I could get in. I called Accredited Accommodations about that and they let the call go to the answering machine. They returned the call the next day and suggested that I wait until the following morning when their office was open. Big help!!!!! Not being able to get into the building is a MAJOR PROBLEM, one that really requires their attention.
I never heard from them again until my last evening there when they left a message changing the procedure by which I was to leave the keys for the owner.
I had to follow up with them to make sure that I got my security deposit back. They deducted $15 to pay their employee to go to the bank to make the deposit. That is THEIR cost of doing business, not mine. They also shorted me by a few dollars.
I WILL NEVER USE THIS AGENCY AGAIN!
