I am delighted to recommend the services of Adrian Alganaraz and Acanthus & Reed. I have had three prints framed by them so far. In each case, they immediately knew just the right materials to use to bring out the beauty of the art, and they offered multiple options in order to make sure I was happy. The prices are commensurate with the quality of the work, and I was never pressured to pick the most expensive option. They also offer picture hanging services, which I recently used and with which I was very pleased (and sorry I had used a handyman for some previous jobs). Residents of the the far Upper East Side are fortunate to have them nearby, but for others they are definitely worth the trip.

Over the last 3 years Ive used Acanthus and Reed to frame six very different pieces of art. In each case, the final product has been beautiful. More importantly, the process of working with them has been a pleasure. Both Chantelle and Adrian guided me with a confident hand while still leaving me feeling that I had ownership of the final decisions. Ill go again any time I need a great frame!
