Several years ago, I developed extremely painful plantar fasciitis which made every step an agony. After everything that a podiatrist could throw at it - steroid injection, TENS, ultrasound, night-boot, orthotics - there was some improvement, but the pain was still there. Acupuncture provided some relief, but again, there was still residual pain. By that point, other problems were springing up due to my compensating for the foot pain. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Malba. That's when I found out that chiropractic is about a lot more than "cracking your back." Besides the traditional spinal adjustments, Dr. Malba began a regimen of deep tissue massage on my feet, which worked like magic and finally released me from two years of pain. I've been a weekly patient for probably over 8 years now. I always feel better after a visit. In addition, I'm a teacher, and as soon as I feel a cold coming on, I tell him and he does his "magic thymus thing" to boost my immune system - I have not had a cold this entire school year! Dr. Malba and his receptionist Pam are always kind, upbeat, and good-humored, and a visit to his office is healing both physically and emotionally. I am convinced that my weekly visits are reducing/eliminating visits to "traditional" doctors. The philosophy of chiropractic just makes so much sense. I could not recommend Abundant Life Chiropractic more highly!
