Absolutely Dogs LLC

I have a now 14 year old toy poodle named Madeline. Lydia and Absolutely Dogs is Madeline's groomer since she is a baby of 3 months old. Madeline loves her Lydia and it is not even an option to consider any other groomer.
Since the late 80's Lydia is our groomer. She is a highly trained professional who loves animals. She groomed our 40 - 50 lb. American domestic mutts, Crystal who lived until close to 18 years and Herbie, 16 years. Then Tara, Gizmo and now Madeline.
Madeline suffers from separation anxiety, Lydia has helped me help Madeline with this in teaching me how to reinforce the training Lydia does when she grooms her.
Lydia is serious about caring for her animals and is forthright when it comes to the care a dog deserves.
Choosing a groomer for your dog is like choosing your own hair stylist. You want consistency and professional care. You want to sit in the chair for your appointment on time. If allowed to the "less than" regular customers have no complaints when they are the people imposing, God forbid they have to uphold responsible pet owner behavior.
I make an appointment with Lydia, I show up on time and if something comes up I call and ask if she would rather reschedule and depending on the days work load, Lydia has always been more than understanding and accommodating when possible. Otherwise, we reschedule respectfully.
For as long as I am a dog owner and Lydia a groomer, she is the only person I trust with our beloved dogs.

taken my two dogs there twice and I will keep going. from the first visit, the lady noticed my older dog had arthritis in one of his paws...no other place had ever noticed or informed me...she takes great care of my dogs

I FOUND THIS GROOMER ON GOOGLE. SHE HAD GOOD REVIEWS AND MY DOG IS VERY SCARED TO GET HIS HAIR CUT. I CALLED AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT BUT HAD TO CANCEL BECAUSE I HAD A WORK SCHEDULING CONFLICT. I CALLED AND RESCHEDULED EVERYTHING WAS EASY. TODAY I HAD TO WORK AND MY FIANCE WAS ON HER WAY TO THE GROOMER AND SHE CALLED TO SAY SHE WOULD BE 5 MINS LATE BECAUSE THE DOG WAS BEING FUSSY AND TOLD THE WOMEN THAT HER STEP FATHER WHO IS THE OWNER OF THE PUPPY WOULD BE PICKING HIM UP. THE LADY THREW A FIT ON MY FIANCE AND SAID SHE WOULD HAVE TO RESCEDULE BECAUSE SHE DOESNT HAVE TIME TO WASTE THAT SHE IS GOING HOME EARLY. SHE ALSO TOLD HER THAT MULTIPLE PEOPLE CANT DROP OFF AND PICK UP. I AM VERY UPSET IVE BEEN WAITING 2 WEEKS FOR THIS APPOINTMENT AND MY DOG LOOKS LIKE A MATTED SHEEP NOW. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND PEOPLE GO TO THIS PLACE BECAUSE SHE IS RUDE AND DOESNT KNOW ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT SHE DOES TO RUSH DOGS THROUGH

The woman who works there made me rush to get there, then when I got there she refused to groom my dog the way I wanted it done. I have a Pomeranian, during the summer I give him lion cuts because it shaves a lot of the hair off but is still cute at the same time. The lion cut is absolutely adorable and people have stopped me to tell me how cute his hair looks that way. This woman refused to do it simply because she doesn't like the cut. Excuse me but 1. He is my dog I want him cut the way I want. 2. I am paying you, therefore you should do what I ask within reason- this was definitely within reason. So thanks for making me rush to get there, then refusing to do what I asked and wasting my time.

I brought my blind to Lydia at Absolutely Dogs. I have no idea what the other reviewer is referring to. Lydia was amazing with my guy. He hated baths before going to absolutely dogs and she had his tail wagging in minutes. She did everything she could to make him comfortable and he was gorgeous when she was done. She even groomed my show dog a bunch of times. The prices, compared to others were on par and lower than some of her competitors. I highly recommend Absolutely Dogs!
