THREE with a BULLET (it could be a five). This school's history is one if which you could easily be proud. However there was a decade-long decline in the quality of the education offered. Faculty morale, ability to keep a consistent properly educated employmee record, great expectations for the students and the ability to help them achieve, good old-fashioned school pride... All of these important factors had been lost. BUT LATELY... CHANGE HAS MANIFESTED in the form of a challenging gifted and talented program (honors), AP classes in partnership with Kean U, and a talent search sponsored by Johns Hopkins U for those who excel academically; and many other ggreat programs for all of the students to advance through graduation. They will be a BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL IN A COUPLE OF SHORT YEARS. THEIR NEW GOAL is to prepare their students succeed at home, in college/vocation, and in life. I'm excited for the turn around!
