ABC Stay

The apartment I rented through ABCStay was great: the location in Greenwich Village (a couple blocks from Washington Square Park) was the best - for restaurants, groceries, shops, and walks in the neighborhood, and easy to get to other parts of town. The apartment itself was very spacious, with large rooms, high ceilings on the first floor, and nice, updated bathrooms. Very clean and well furnished; good quality linens, plates, glasses, etc. The charming back garden was a real plus. The managers were easy to deal with (we rented the apartment after leaving a very disappointing apartment rented through another company) and were very responsive to any questions.

My family of four plus two dogs stayed for eight months at an ABC Stay property on 34th and 1st while renovating our apartment (2015 - 2016). We were so lucky to find this and I highly recommend Rebecca Gomez and ABC Stay. The apartment was clean, well cared for, beautifully furnished, and well stocked with linens and kitchen ware. The apartment was lovely, and fairly priced for a short-term stay. The whole experience, start to finish, was no-hassle. Rebecca was accessible and responsive when we had questions and flexible about our move out date, which we really appreciated given the uncertainties of a renovation. She does business the way it should be done.

We stayed 5 weeks in an apartment on E 9th St managed by ABC Stay. We are renovating our apartment uptown and wanted to stay downtown for a change of scenery. We LOVED every minute of our stay. First of all, we are New Yorkers, so we understand how special it is to find this kind of charm and comfort in such a fabulous(!!!) NYC neighborhood.
The apartment is clean, comfortable and has a great bed, comfortable couch( I took nay naps on it and it was perfect), with a renovated, pristine bathroom and great shower. The kitchen is small but perfectly fine, with everything you need. We had both cool weather and hot. There were fans that cooled the rooms with the big windows opened, and the heat worked perfectly when it was cold and rainy one week. The apartment has very high ceilings and beautiful tall windows looking out onto the lovely street. It is a buzzer building, and we had to climb a couple flights (We stayed in 3F), but it wasn't as many stairs as you would think, and it was a breeze. Rebecca and her helper, Marisela were so helpful, delivering extra pillows, and extra new towels immediately after our request. Rebecca is a very kind and lovely woman.
The neighborhood is perfect!! If you know NY you already know how special this neighborhood is. It's a short walk to 14th Street, Union Square, where there's a green market, and many subway lines which make it so easy to get anywhere in Manhattan and Brooklyn. There is a Whole Foods on 14th St for food shopping or take out. You're also a couple blocks to Washington Square, a wonderful park, and the home of NYU. It's also a short walk over to the West Village and all the fun stores and restaurants!
If you are visiting NY for the first time, this is the perfect place to discover the city. It is a very safe neighborhood. There are wonderful restaurants of every kind ( we loved the Italian restaurant "Arte" on the corner- very romantic). There is a launderette where you can drop off your laundry or do it yourself 2 blocks away. Everything is right outside your door. Don't stay in Times Square like a tourist. Come stay in a charming and beautiful apartment and live like a very lucky New Yorker.

This well worn quiet 19th Century East Village apartment is in an excellent location on East 9th Street one block off of 5th Avenue. We walked to Agata & Valentino, a gourmet Italian market offering complete meals that we took back to the apartment several evenings when we just wanted to have dinner and watch a movie. Washington Square is an easy walk as are the two subway stations that serve the area. We had a lovely stay.

We stayed at the West Village appartment last July, it was a trully amazing and an easy experience working with Rebecca at ABC Stay. These appartments are beautifully decorated and they have a washer and dryer! Unheard of in the West Village. Great Value for the money. Will come back!!
