AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Not good. I was given an estimate, after the work was done the costs tripled even though the exact same work was done. Parts were taken off and never put back on. After I left the shop the exact same problem came back even though I've already played them 700.00 they wanted me to come back. HELL NO!!! I went to another shop who fixed the problems, I said problems, even the problems Aamco created. Sorry I couldn't in good contous ever take my car there again.

I blew the trans on my 2006 Acura TL after calling a few shops AAMCO caught my eye with a great warranty and great customer service. My car was in and out fast and my car is running better than when I first bought it!

I have been coming to AAMCO for 3 months now ever since my transmission blew on my Ford. I know its never a good thing when you have to go into a repair shop but I can honestly say Pat and the team made me feel good about the service being preformed and the price. I was blown away with the professionalism and shop cleanliness. My Ford was delivered on time and they even brought me into the shop to educate me on what happened with the transmission. I now take my Ford to these guys for everything because they were that good. I am always careful when I recommend any business to family or friends but everyone I have told that has gone to AAMCO only has positive things to say!! Thank you for looking after me and my family and being honest and fair!

I can't say enough good things about the service I received at the AAMCO of Carteret. I drove in, Pat diagnosed the issue told me what the options were and what the cost would be. I dropped it off the evening before and was able to pick it up the following day as promised.

I had a good experience at this business, they are fast, friendly and professional.They are full service, and fixed a leaky tire while I waited. The business is right off Turnpike exit 12 and the neighborhood is safe.
