Reviews to AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care
From the moment I walked into the shop, the guys working there were helpful and nice. I have an older truck and could feel that something wasn't quite right. These guys stuck with it until they got to the bottom line, calling me with every step along the way. I have been jerked around a few times in the past at different car places, and not once did I feel that occurred at this AAMCO. I would recommend this shop to any of my friends and family.

My first experience with this shop was very positive and they corrected the problem in my vehicle. Unfortunately, I had to return some time later for the same problem and was told that it was not the same issue as previously corrected. After much research through the manufacturer of my vehicle and dealer recommendations, they reluctantly did the work under their warranty. So far, the problem hasn't returned. The frustrating part is with the representitive whom I had to deal with. His initial knee-jerk reaction to all comments is consistantly confrontational but then usually comes around to (seemingly) remembering that he is the face of the business and is then much more helpful. I didn't appreciate all the negative head shaking that the problem that I was experiencing was not what the mfg or the dealer stated.I suspect that they were skeptical of the manufacturers findings and didn't want to shoulder the cost of repair w/o absolute certainty (in their minds) that it would correct the problem. I would still return to this facility. They are capable and seem to be honest.

My 2008 Ford Fusion had a transmission problem about two weeks ago. Mark & the guys at Aamaco told me the parts needed reconditioned. They were very knowledgable about this problem had it fixed in less than a week. Transmissions are costly but they worked with me & we're very reasonable and also fast with the repairs. Two days ago I needed a new radiator because it was leaking transmission fuel, they fixed it in a day. Prices are very reasonable with a guarantee on their work I will always go here for any mechanical problem. Thanks Mark, thank you Aamaco.

Had an Altima that kept idling on me while driving..took it to STS on Pennsylvania and they recommended i take it to Aamco cuz i had "tranny issues". Got to Aamaco met Marc and Steph and they did their diagnostics and realized it was sensors!! They broke down everything to me and why it was acting up. And they needed just a day to fix it. Didn't have full coverage so they hooked me up with Enterprise for a rental which picked me up from there while they kept the car overnight. The next day I picked it up and my Altima runs great!! I can feel the difference. Steph and Marc were excellent in explaining everything and had great customer service. This will definitely be my place from now on if i cant do it myself!!!!
