Bait and switch attempt. I called prior to arriving to confirm price and service provided for the coupon listed below. They started off by taking almost 20 minutes just to enter car and customer information into the computer. Once set up in the system, I was told the next step was to create an estimate. I asked why an estimate was needed when providing a coupon stating service and price. He said the coupon was just for parts of the A/C tune-up and that labor was extra. The real cost would be closer to $200 for the A/C service. He even stated that the recharge was not included when clearly stated on the coupon. When I asked him to read the coupon again, specifically the part that stated recharge and that coupon was for inspection of the system, also known as labor. He would not move off his stance that the coupon was for parts only and excluded recharge. When I asked if the recharge was not included (even though clearly stated it was), what parts would be needed since the remainder of the service was just inspection of the A/C system. He could not give an answer other than “this is just for parts; labor will be 1 to 1.5 hours.” I walked out at this point figuring this was a strait scam or so ignorant they could not understand their own clearly stated coupon. Either way, time to walk out. I also was not looking forward to waiting an hour or more in the disgusting waiting area. I will never go near this place again.
