After having a difficult time finding a decent price for insurance in my area I chose AAA thinking it was heaven sent, I was wrong. Over the year I had coverage with them I was sent about 20 insurance cards without requesting them and experienced numerous problems. These problems included everything from receiving various pieces of mail contradicting themselves, to my rates going up without anything to do with my driving, to the representatives never knowing what was going on with my account. Canceling was the worst, I have spoken with 6 different representatives over the last week and no one seems to know whether I am receiving a refund for canceling or whether I owe money. AAA/Mapfre would not be the first insurance company I suggest to friends and family unless it was a last resort.
