Very unorganized, unprofessional staff, overpriced nothing salon...customer service a big ZERO!!

You really reallyyyy can not find another place like this. If feel bad for anyone who has not experienced all their services. Downstairs is like a whole other world. Wish I had the money to do it all once a week :) Thank you for being on Staten Island. See you soon !!!

It was strongly recommended to me, a very friendly environment and classy. satisfied all the way, Ashley did a wonderful job. This is now one of my favorite place.

This was my first visit to the A.F. Bennett salon, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment my husband dropped me off, I was immediately greeted by the valet gentleman in the front who also opened the door for me. I then had someone else greet me inside along with signing me in while someone else grabbed my jacket to hang it up. The same woman also came back to the front to introduce me to the woman I was scheduled to have my manicure with. When I met Natasha, she asked me if there was anything she could get me to drink and then walked me over to her station. The atmosphere is beautiful! Natasha was such a pleasure to speak with and made me feel very comfortable while having an enjoyable manicure. At the end, she helped carry my belonging and brought me to the next woman who I was scheduled to get my hair done with. Christie, the stylist, then met with me and was extremely patient in listening and understanding exactly what it was I was looking to have done. I was scheduled to get my hair colored, a hair cut and a blow out. Christie has been working with A.F. Bennett for about 16years now and you can tell how experienced and knowledgeable she is. She helped educate me along the process. I had long and thin hair and was hesitant on cutting it the length I was desiring to because of a previous experience but she took the time to explain that there was a certain way she could cut the ends so it wouldn't give me that choppy look I was afraid of...the cut actually made my hair fuller!
Now, a week later and after several washings, I am still extremely happy with it!

For me, I was blessed to have had the chance to experience something so different from many other salons. It helped me, for those few hours, leave the 'crazy' world outside and enter a place of serenity. Their hospitality is so apparent that they even have a complimentary beverage bar, which in my opinion, is even better then Starbucks! It includes a delicious caramel latté (which I enjoyed 2 of) and I just heard about their salted caramel latté, which I will be trying on my next visit!

P.s. My husband also received a gift from me which I purchased at the salon...a soothing heat therapy neck wrap which he has used every day since.

Poor customer service!! I was trying to book a massage for my sister and not one single person knew what was going on. I was put on hold 5 times in a row and each time someone else would answer and have no idea of what was going on. I decided to cancel because the lack of customer service an attitude of girls. when I asked to speak to manager I was given an attitude. when the actually "manager" got on the phone she kept on trying to interrupt me and speak over me. Piss Poor Customer Service!!
